^{okay i don't even care if ya'll read this cause I think alot of you tell me that same thing as an answer. But here I go.

So it's the thanksgiving weekend, woo hurray no school! Right? Well one of my friends invites me to thanksgiving at her house. I'm like 'aw that would be awsome let me ask my mom!' So I go home and tell my mom about it she says it was nice for my friend to invite me so her answer was maybe. Now it's been a couple of days and today i wake up and so I decided to ask her again. She's mad or something and says 'no! You're not going you're supposed to spend thanksgiving with your own family.' I try to explain to her that when it comes to thanksgiving wuth my family....I don't have fun really. I'm the only one of my age there [/15] and my cousins are either older or younger then I am.

And to tell the truth here, i'm the odd one of the family....I'm different skin color wise, personality wise, and how I dress. I feel like an outcast cause I'm so different and I'm not able to relate or even understand my family. [/they speak spanish to one another...and I can't speak or understand it.] So I was at least glad for my friend to invite me over, but my mom finally said no. She keeps saying that thanksgiving is spending time with your family, your friends family is not your family.

When she says that I know she's right, but I have one thing so deeply against her that I swear she'll probably hit me for. She's ashamed of what I wear and how I act....I though mothers weren't supposed to say, do, or even think that. I'm wondering if I should still as to go....I shouldn't but I just might.}
